I’ve always struggled with heightened emotions. I used to fight them earlier, but now I just feel what I feel. When you walk with an open heart, you feel a lot of pain. But you also feel all other emotions intensely: joy, love, contentment, peace.
And I’d rather live my life feeling too much than too too little.
Allow yourself to be sensitive. To be kind. To be compassionate. Walk in other people’s shoes once in a while. We need more of those qualities in the world today. Be ready to extend an arm, a shoulder, a ear, and you’ll realise that the more you give, the more you end up with.
