If only I could tell you the AMOUNT of effort it took for me to open this page and start writing. Man.

First of all, a very happy new year to all my readers 🙂 It’s another three hundred and sixty five days of making tough decisions, going through a whole new series of existential crises in the aftermath of growing a year older, trying to understand how taxes work, and getting a wee bit wiser and adult-ier. Am I right?

2015 was incredible for me, both personally and professionally. I’m working with one of the biggest names in advertising, I’m in multiple, steady relationships, I live in the most adorable little room in an apartment filled with the nicest of people, and man, did I travel.

Right in the beginning of the year I visited Chikamagalur with friends and climbed one of the the highest peaks in Karnataka, in March I went to Singapore to meet my sister and spent time with family, soon after that I visited Pondicherry, in August we had the super awesome Euro trip, a month later I was in Goa for my birthday, and in December we did a road trip all the way from Mumbai to Gujarat to Rajasthan to Agra!

The road trip was more than what I could have hoped for. Right from tiger safaris in Ranthambore National Park, and having our meals with a fantastic view of the Pichola lake, to unravelling the beauty that is the City Palace, just spending time with my sister and DJ, having the yummiest food on the way, bonfires and conversations, listening to music the whole time. It was so warm, and nice. It was home. #themfeels

Being home and spending time with mom and dad, and catching up with the rest of the family is always refreshing. We had a terrace party at my cousin’s place, with my entire family and a raging bonfire. There was something really different about it this time. I realized how much we’ve all grown up now. There are going to be newer additions to the family, and newer beginnings, and endings.

I’m back to work now, but there are a couple of things looming on the horizon. Again, my life is going to change massively over the next few months. There are some things I can’t wait for, and some I that I don’t want to face, or accept. But let’s not get into that right now.

I also watched some amazing TV shows, caught up on movies, read splendid books, had the most satisfying conversations with two of the sweetest, I-can’t-believe-they-exist type people I had the fortune to befriend. I can safely say that I have best friends, now. People who I love and who love me back with no shame, no conditions and no apprehensions. People who make me feel like I belong. Like I matter. Like I’m awesome. And guys, those are the friends you should always treasure and hold on to and never give up on.

This year, I am planning to save even more and travel even further. This year, I’m going to eat healthier, (which I’ve already started, thanks to my flatmates), and I’m going to do a 10 minute workout every morning. I’ve grown as a person since last year. I’m more organized and more positive in life. I know awesome things are just waiting to happen.

I also plan to read a lot more this year. My list is ready, and I can’t wait to start! 🙂 I have a few ideas brewing for some good fiction. I hope I work on them and share them soon. I don’t know how many of you even read what I write here, but that’s not the point. Whoever you are, thanks for being a tiny part of my life 🙂

Be back soon. (No, really!)

So much love.
